Senior System Developer and Tech Lead (Sandefjord, June 2025 - Present)

In the summer of 2025, I achieved the position of Senior System Developer and Tech Lead for our e-commerce consulting department. With my new position, I have taken greater responsibility in enhancing the quality of daily technical experiences for my team members. I work closely with other Tech Leads to ensure that we work smarter and not harder.

System Developer (Sandefjord, April 2018 - June 2025)

Solution architect, developer and customer advisor with a wide skill set, specialising in planning and implementation of e-commerce platform, Gurusoft Commerce Cloud, for clients across a wide variety of industries.

  • Project planning, management, cost estimation and implementation of e-commerce solutions for clients with and without experience in e-commerce, from start to finish.

NovaManus AS

System Developer (Tønsberg, March 2017 - April 2018)

Development of the backend part of the web-based social media platform NovaManus in .NET Core and .NET Framework.

Worked with Entity Framework, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Azure as a hosting platform and service provider and various parts of the Azure framework.

I've also done some work on the frontend using Angular 2 and TypeScript.

ComTech AS

System Developer (Larvik, October 2012 - February 2017)

Development of frontend and backend systems in .NET. Server application, desktop application and web applications. Specialising in communication with external systems and integration between systems. Done a great deal of work in communication with and conversion of data from Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft IIS, Active Directory, Apache, Exim and external APIs in general.

Project leader with regard to migrating web-hosting customers from a vanilla Linux environment to cPanel-based servers. In charge of Linux server security.

Worked extensively with SuperOffice, focusing on expanding functionality within SuperOffice as well as establishing communication and integration between SuperOffice and other systems like GFI MAX and Visma Business.

IT Operations Manager (March 2016 - September 2016)

Temporarily took charge of leading the IT operations department until a permanent solution could be found.

Monitoring and maintenance of hardware and software, both hosted and on-premise, by use of N-central from SolarWinds N-able.

Automation of day-to-day operations, coordinating human resources for optimal efficiency with regard to solving all IT-related problems.

My responsibilities include recruitment, onboarding and the general well-being of volunteer workers at Retromessa, the largest retro gaming convention in Northern Europe.

Seeing to and taking care of any needs presented by specially invited guests, celebrities, partners and content creators at Retromessa.

Banzaicon

Vice President (Larvik, July 2011 - June 2022)

Founded and served as the Vice President of the non-profit organization Banzaicon, formerly known as Rounin Events. Working with cultural projects based on eastern Asian pop culture as well as western pop culture. Mainly focusing on anime and gaming projects.

Project Manager (Larvik, 2012 - 2022)

Worked with recruitment and onboarding of volunteers, accounting, budgeting, project management and execution of the pop culture convention Banzaicon. Took part in building and maintaining the Banzaicon, and increasing the convention's popularity and number of participants from 200 to over 1000 over the course of a few years.

AFS Intercultural Programs

Volunteer (Larvik, August 2009 - January 2011)

Volunteered in the exchange student program at AFS in my home city. I managed the local AFS chapter, organised activities for international exchange students, performed home visits and interviewed applicants to the program.

Participated in the creation of Skjervøy-LAN, developed and managed the website and forum.
